Snubbull Amigurumi (with pattern!)

Happy Valentine's Day! As promised, I am giving you the pattern for this grumpy Snubbull.
You can find me on Instagram @tinymoonrabbitcrochet
Have fun creating!

A NOTE ON THIS PATTERN
~I would classify it as Intermediate level, which means it's not extremely difficult, but it requires some skills beyond the basics. You need to be able to pick up stitches and work on multiple rounds at once.
~For the same reason, this pattern is written in a way that assumes you are well familiarized with the essentials of amigurumi making.
~The eyes, fangs, nose and polka dot details on this toy are needlefelted.

MATERIALS
~Your favourite crochet hook (I used 3mm).
~Worsted weight yarn in pink, blue, black, beige.
~Fiberfill.
~Tapestry needle, scissors, pins.

ABBREVIATIONS
~This pattern uses US terminology.
~incX: crochet X sc stitches in the same stitch.

PATTERN
HEAD (pink)
1. MR6
2. inc all (12)
3. inc, sc (18)
4. inc, sc2 (24)
5. inc, sc3 (30)
6. inc, sc4 (36)
7. sc around (36)
8. inc, sc5 (42)
9-11. sc around for 3 rounds total (42)
12. sc, inc3, sc12, inc3, sc rest (46)
13. make one inc on the first and third sc of previous inc3, sc rest (50)
14-16. sc around for 3 rounds total (50)
17. dec, sc2, dec, sc12, dec, sc2, dec, sc rest (46)
18. dec, sc, dec, sc12, dec, sc, dec, sc7, dec, sc6, dec, sc7 (40)
19. dec, sc3 (32)
20. dec, sc2 (24)
21. dec, sc (16)
22. dec all (8)
END.
NOTE: When stuffing the head, take the time to stuff the cheeks well, otherwise they won't stick out properly.

MOUTH (pink)
1. MR6
2. inc all (12)
3. inc, sc (18)
4. inc3, sc rest (20).
END.
NOTE: The inc3 stitch is meant to create a corner, which will face upwards when attaching the mouth.

EAR (black, pink) Make 4
~Start with black.
1. ch9, sc8, inc in last ch, turn, sc7, and work another sc in the same ch as your first sc (18)
2-3. sc around, 2 rounds total (18)
~Switch to pink.
4-6. sc around, 3 rounds total (18)
7. dec, sc7 (16)
8. dec, sc2 (12)
9. dec, sc (8)
END.

COLLAR (blue)
~Find round 19 on the head and pick up 30 stitches around it.
1. inc, sc4 (36)
2. inc, sc3 (45)
3. To make the frill: sl, sc, hdc inc, sc, sl, sc etc. Repeat this pattern around.
END.

BODY (pink)
~Pick up 24 stitches, close to the ones you picked up for the collar.
1. inc, sc3 (30)
2. inc, sc4 (36)
3-4. sc around, 2 rounds (36)
5. inc, sc5 (42)
6. sc around (42)
7. inc, sc6 (48)
8-9. sc around, 2 rounds (48)
10. inc, sc11 (52)
11. sc around (52)
*PAUSE HERE and pick up stitches around to make the skirt (52)
*1. inc, sc3 (65)
*2. To make the frill: sl, sc, hdc, dc inc, hdc, sc, sl, sc etc. Repeat this pattern around.
*An alternative to picking up would be to work round 12 in the back loops of round 11 and connect yarn to make the skirt when you're finished.
*RESUME working on the body.
12. sc around (52)
~ Now you will connect a chain of 10 across to separate the body into two halves. Make sure that the connecting sc stitch is in the center of the body; you might need to add a few sc stitches and this will vary depending on where you started picking up stitches for the body. For me, it took 4 sc before I started the chain.
13. sc4, ch10, count 26 and connect with a sc on the 27th. There should be 26 stitches on each side, +10 from the chain makes 36 in total. (36)
14. (worked in one of two halves) dec, sc4 (30)
15. dec, sc3 (24)
16. dec, sc (16)
17. dec all (8)
END. Connect a new strand of yarn on the other side and repeat from round 14 to END.
NOTE: Keep in mind that you need to stuff as you go; make sure that both legs are stuffed evenly.

ARM (pink) Make 2
1. MR6
2. inc all (12)
3. inc, sc (18)
4. sc around (18)
5. dec, sc4 (15)
6. Stuff the hand lightly, flatten it and sc across both sides to close it.

FOOT (beige) Make 2
1. MR6
2. inc all (12)
3. inc, sc2 (16)
4-9. sc around, 6 total (16)
10. dec, sc2 (12)
11. dec all
END. Sew the paws with black thread as pictured. I did not include a picture, but I needlefelted the underside of the foot with light brown.

EYELID (pink) Make 2
1. ch5, turn, sc4 (4)
2. dec, dec (2)
END.

THAT'S IT!
